Actually it was a call from the nurse... and no I didn't get a call from the lady with the alligator purse. My blood work was back....It was fine....But... (there's always a but) it seems my cholesterol was a bit high, well more than a bit...but less than a tad as they say. Up about six points from the last time. Okay so I missed a few pills...it happens. Dog tired at night I sometimes forget to take it, or I think I already have and don't take it. So now instead of taking the one pill I usually do at night, I have to take two of them. Of course I'll need to have my blood rechecked again in two months time. Oh what fun....  now the thing is taking two pills each night means my ninety day supply of them will run out sooner. More fun... If i run out before I get the new blood work up I'll have to call the Doctor's office to get a refill, or I'll be short as they want me to go back to to one pill after the work up is done.  As for my text message on Sunday last.... Well I think I'll give it a couple of days... see if she text's me again first. If no I'll send a casual message on that Book of Faces place, letting her know how much I enjoyed our chat.....see where the ball lands as it were. I wouldn't want to screw up a friendship by coming on too strong if she was just shooting the breeze. Any who I'll keep you posted.

I am glad you have meet someone. I hope it works out for you. Only medication one thing that might help you to remember is to get you a pill box their Mark like Sunday through Saturday and put your pills in it and they got one for p.m. and one for a.m. and that might help. The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

I have had those problems for years and those numbers fluxgate constantly! Also as we age the average raises, lots o Drs don't seem be aware of this! As a result off being downsized my medical coverage was gone, I did contract labor after that! Before paying for extra meds, not good for u anyway, watch ur diet, take ur pills normal! I put them by my coffee pot, or even by ur razor, something u do by habit every morning. There r lots of private clinics that just do blood work, because of the mandatory test required for drugs! Some r cheaper than ur co-pay or if ur company requires a drug test, it maybe free to just add it. Just a thought!

Think about it, u forgot to take a few, it's normal for ur numbers to raise! But why add a double dose immediately! Hmmmm, more money for the insurance company, more Doctor visits that's what the modern medical programs r designed for!

I have to take a thyroid pill every day. I bought a pill box like Flannel mentioned. If I can't remember, I check the pill box. It helps me stay on track. Of course once I started using it I added vitamins and such, LOL.

Mark - down another Vote for pill box  I place mine on counter in bathroom next too tubs for my upper & lower partial dentures ; which I wouldn't have , had I not accidentally knocked out some of my teeth myself
