 Quality of connection and chemistry rather than pure numbers game. although like many, in moments of weakness I do wonder about having more partners and how that would have impacted me and my outlook and abilities as a lover

 Yeah, I'd definitely prefer a longer lasting relationship. Not sure I could do a one-off thing as I prefer to get to know what they like and I do like a nice snog.

But having never been in that situation perhaps the excitement and suddenness of a one-off quickie might appeal at the time.

 Sometimes we go for the long sessions (like last time), sometimes for really long sessions (like a couple times earlier), and sometimes a quickie (like one in between). It depends on what we have time for, and what we're in the mood for.

When I've been in the more casual role, I've preferred the longer sessions, or repeat sessions, depending on the situation.

When my wife and I were first together, we didn't yet know it would be a lasting relationship, so we both tried to get all we could while it lasted -- two or three sessions a day, often long-lasting ones as long as we had time for it. But eventually we slowed down to allow more time for getting out of the house (and eating and sleeping).

Quickies do give a quick relief but lack overall satisfaction.

At the risk of being stereotype I would not want to be a sugar daddy.
But I do know what you mean I have a college friend in mid 30s who is currently in a live in relationship with a 19 year old. He is old enough to be her dad.

Didn't mean to offend you. Nor I have a double standards. I was just having a conversation. Nothing is ever wrong with having an active sex life

I have been in a very serious relationship with woman 7 years older then me. In senior college I actually dated a grad student for 1 year. (and no she was not my TA or anything). In my experience a 5 older/younger is probably a good cut off if one is looking for a relationship.
